1. Watch out Montreal, I’ve gone rogue by doing Sunday brunch on a Saturday (it’s crazy times we’re living in). Sam and I headed over to Monkland to check out Prohibition and try the brunch that our friends couldn’t stop talking about. I can see why. The buzz on this place has been pretty postal, so I strongly advise making reservations. If you don’t, you can always hit up their Twitter @ProhibitionMTL where the manager live tweets cancelations, no-shows, and open seats. 


    Sam had the much raved about maple fried challah French toast with fried chicken, and I went for the lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberry compote and sugar bacon. Both were delish, but if I had to choose, I’d say go for the French toast! -Lea
